Privacy Policy
Information processed by the QR builder
QRToolkit creates static QR codes from information you enter. Saved campaign history is stored in your browser using local storage unless you delete it, clear browser data, or use the export and import tools. QRToolkit does not require an account for the current browser-based builder.
QR image rendering
The current builder sends the encoded QR payload and selected rendering options to the goQR QR Server API operated by an independent third party in order to return the QR image. Do not place confidential, private, regulated, or sensitive information inside a QR code. Review the destination and final code before publishing it.
Technical data
Our hosting provider may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, date, time, and security signals to deliver and protect the website. QRToolkit may use privacy-respecting analytics after the applicable disclosures and consent controls are enabled.
Advertising and cookies
When advertising is enabled, advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, or similar technologies as described in this policy, the Cookie Policy, and the Advertising Disclosure. Where required, non-essential advertising technology will be withheld until the visitor provides consent.
Data choices
You can delete saved QR campaigns from the builder, clear local browser storage, reject non-essential cookies where the consent control is presented, or contact us with a privacy question. Browser controls can also restrict or delete cookies.
Children
QRToolkit is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information about a child through the QR builder.
Contact
Privacy questions can be submitted through the contact page.
